The first official trailer for Josh Trank's film Capone, a biopic of the infamous gangster Al Capone, starring Tom Hardy has surfaced.
The film follows Capone after 10 years in prison as he suffers from dementia and faces the consequences of his life as a criminal. The last film Tank directed was back in 2015 with Fantastic Four and the last film Hardy starred in was Venom back in 2018.
Casting an extremely talented actor like Tom Hardy to play a ruthless gangster from Chicago was a great move by Tank. After his last film flopped, this is a great chance for him to make a comeback.
Yesterday, April 15, Josh Tank took to Twitter to announce the film will be available to stream:
Will be on streaming! Planned as theatrical, but hopefully will be on the big screen later this year!
Besides Tom Hardy, other actors like Matt Dillon, Linda Cardellini, and Noel Fisher will star in the movie that is set to be released on May 12.
You can check out the first official trailer above. Who's looking forward to Capone.
